COHERENS
User Support
User support will be provided via the Web page. The following conditions apply:
- Support is provided for users who subscribed through the
Registration Form on the COHERENS Web page.
- All aspects of COHERENS are extensively discussed in the User
Documentation. The aim of the support is to clarify specific items or
to give further guidelines for setting up the model (e.g. selection of
particular schemes or values of model parameters or type of model
input).
- Users are encouraged to report on program errors and to describe
their experience and type of application with COHERENS.
- Registered users will be informed about changes in the code related to
program bugs and further updates. New releases may be made available
through the same channel in so far that there is no conflict with
(future) contractual obligations.
- The partners are not liable for the simulations performed with the
model, output analysis and visualisation, or for alterations in the
code inserted by the user.
- There is no formal obligation of the partners to provide user support
for programming (except for bugs in the program), implementation on
computing platforms, other than those discussed in the documentation,
or for applications in areas outside the North Sea.
- User support, defined under the previous conditions, will be maintained
for a period of 2 years, starting at the time of release of the CD-ROM
(April 2000).
