The full database extent covers a larger area
(the European Continental plate), going from the Southern Bight of
the North Sea & Channel up to Northern Island (12°E, 45°N
- 12°W, 60°N). During national and international monitoring
campaigns, some stations pertaining to this zone are visited:
Previous campaigns, from 1900 to 1920, have
also been monitored by the Belgian scientists of Gilson's
team.
