
The workshop Navigation of Autonomous Underwater
Vehicles organised by the SUMARE project took place in
Villefranche-sur-Mer, France on the 13th December 2000, in the installations
of the Observatoire Océanographique de Villefranche-sur-Mer.
The
workshop from 9:00 to 18:00 (see programme)
consisted of a series of technical presentations, followed by at sea
demonstrations of work in progress in the project, with the autonomous
underwater vehicle MAUVE. A final round-table concluded the workshop.
