Autonomous sensors for environmental monitoring

> THE MAUVE VEHICLE <

Mauve is a miniaturized, reconfigurable, mobile and autonomous instrumented vehicle, dedicated to multipurpose surveys, in particular in coastal waters.
It is characterized by the integration of a compact automatic multiparameter measurement module enabling sensor-driven navigation with a very small autonomous underwater vehicle.
Basic system operational specifications are the following: low cost baseline, multi-instrument capability, easy maintainability, fast new-mission reconfiguration, low risk mission achievement, reliable homing function, single person handling from a small ship or from the shore, and multi-vehicle configuration capability.
