Images derived from MODIS are accessible without registration. However, if you want to be informed about updates and reprocessing of data, please enter your contact information here.
Images derived from MERIS and SeaWiFS require registration. This is because the data are distributed under strict Conditions of Use and data suppliers require monitoring the use of their data. Please note that registering as a user does not automatically grant you access to restricted datasets. To be granted access to restricted images you have to:

Only when we have received the completed and signed form and are satisfied that you will comply with the relevant conditions will you get access to the MERIS data products.
For SeaWiFS:
Once you are on the SeaWiFS Authorized Research User List (this procedure can take one week for new applicants), we will grant you access to the SeaWiFS images.
All images can only be used for research and educational purposes.
If you want to use data for commercial purposes, please contact the data suppliers directly.
In order to grant you access to the satellite derived data products MUMM gathers professional information about the applicants, namely their name and contact information.
Information requested for registering is collected primarily to grant access to our derived products and in order to inform our users about new updates and relevant ocean colour news.
Registration information collected for MERIS derived products is passed to the European Space Agency in order to become a co-investigator of the MARSUPP project.
Registration information collected for SeaWiFS derived products is only used to check if you are a SeaWiFS Authorized Data User.
Access to our data products is granted on a fair use basis (not for commercial usage). The requested information may be used to track misuse of the data products.
Anybody wishing so can request a copy of his/her personal information kept at MUMM.
